I had the opportunity while in London this summer to visit my beloved friend the Brunsick Plane in Brunswick Square.

I was able to return quite often to visit the plane tree in Brunswick Square (Time Out: The Great Trees of London pp24-28) which was just two blocks away from the apartment I rented for May 2014.I visited many times either with my sweetheart, once with a good friend from Sweden who was visiting and also by myself.

What is the essence of my connection with my sweetheart? What is important in our relationship?

What would be an imagination of a children’s fairy tale for our time?

I developed a relaxed , warm and open connection with this tree. I asked it questions and also was receptive to inspiration for my writing for children. When I think of this tree I feel a great opening and warmth in my heart. I feel so much gratitude for the gift of my connection with this tree.

I also worked with two other trees that were nearby the Brunswick Plane. They seemed connected and supportive of the main tree.
